Heating instructions
Pan-Frying (traditional and recommended method)
1.Slice the goetta roll into 1⁄4- to 1⁄2-inch thick slices.
2. Preheat a non-stick or well-oiled cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
3. Add oil (1-2 tbsp of avocado or vegetable oil for crispiness).
4. Place goetta slices in the pan, leaving space between them.
5. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
6. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes.
7. Serve hot with toast, hash browns, or as a breakfast sandwich filling!
Oven-Baking (Lower Oil Option)
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
3. Place goetta slices on the sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
Air Fryer (Crispy with Less Oil)
1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lightly spray or brush goetta slices with oil.
3. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
