In 2005, Carolyn began making little crafts with scraps from previous projects. Being the wife of an environmentalist, the concerns of plastic and their use as bags inspired her to make a few simple cotton bags for her family to use for shopping. As more information came out about plastics and their massively produced “reusable” counterparts, the more she and her family relied on her washable bags.
