Chicken Caprese Pizza from Gramma Debbie’s Kitchen, written by Tosha Gannaway
Ingredients:
2 Chicken Caprese Burgers from GDK
Pizza Dough from Madison’s
Fresh Basil
1 8oz container Pizza or Marinara Sauce from Bourchards
¼ lb each fresh mozzarella balls & Italian cheese blend from Gibbs Cheese: whole milk mozzarella, fontina Italy, and provolone.
1 oz It’s a Pizza! Mix from Colonel D’s
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- In a skillet over medium heat crumble and brown chicken caprese meat. Drain and set aside.
- Stretch pizza dough out to desired size.
- Top with sauce of choice and sprinkle Italian spice blend on top of sauce.
- Add cooked ground caprese chicken
- Generously sprinkle Italian cheese blend.
- Cut mozzarella balls in half and sparingly add to the top of the pie
- Bake pizza in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes depending on your oven style (Convection or traditional)
- Top hot pizza with torn pieces of fresh basil
