In 1662, Catherine of Braganza came to England from Portugal to marry King Charles II and brought tea with her as part of her dowry. This led to tea becoming incredibly fashionable and it soon became ingrained in the culture. This tea is named in her honor. A blend of three Chinese black teas from Keemun (Qimen), Yunnan, and the Fujian Province. This medium-bodied tea with three different growing regions creates an interesting complexity.
